We rarely pay attention to the same person more than once.

But Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes surprised us with his childish behavior, which is difficult to expect from a 58-year-old considerable person.

Let’s recap:

We published the fact that Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes was a registered trainer of the horse LAMIA CRH (FEI ID 104RL03) from 29/07/2016 till 31/12/2017.

During this period of his training, horse LAMIA CRH has participated at the prestigious Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum Endurance Cup in Dubai on 07/01/2017 and then was sold to MRM Stables on 12/03/2017.

This fact is undeniable and can be easily verified by anyone.

Instead of admitting this fact, Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes reacted very nervously and demonstrated to all 32,000 subscribers of our Facebook page that he did not know how to control himself:

Well, let’s dive deeper and look at some posts of Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes on Facebook.

His attitude towards the UAE is very inconsistent.

On the one hand, he expresses his hatred of the UAE, and on the other hand, he is happy when his compatriot participated in the competition sponsored by the UAE and received prize money from the UAE.

On the above screenshot, Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes congratulates the Brazilian rider who participated in Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum Festival in Italy, took 6th place and received 1,000 EUR of prize money.

So, for Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes it is OK when the Brazilian rider takes prize money from the UAE.

Now move on to the next controversial post from Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes.

Here Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes expresses his indignation, but it is not clear what exactly he dissatisfied with.

Either he’s unhappy with too little weight, or he’s unhappy that they have set a minimum weight instead of making free weight.

Did Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes forget that according to the FEI rules, for a distance of 1* (80-119 km) and 2* (120-139 km), the minimum weight is not mandatory at all?

If it was an FEI competition, there would be no minimum weight at all, and riders with a weight of 40-45 kg could participate.

So, on the contrary, it’s good that the organizers of the national competition set at least some minimal weight!

It’s better than no minimum weight at all by the FEI rules, right?

Therefore it’s completely not clear why Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes was so indignant.

If Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes hates the UAE so much, then why did he come to the Championship, which was sponsored by the UAE, and published a photo of his national team with the sponsor’s banners behind them?

If Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes hates the UAE, then why did he share this promo movie about Endurance ride in Spain sponsored by Meydan?

* * *

Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes hates the UAE a priori.

If UAE athletes rode fast – it’s bad.
If UAE athletes rode not fast – this is a fake, according to Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes.

Mr. Vaz Guimaraes’s friend – Marcelo Davila is way more aggressive towards the Arab nations in his numerous and often insulting comments below many posts relating to Endurance sport.

Just read this all.

Now you clearly see, that Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes and Mr. Marcelo Davila think that every ride must be ridden as fast as possible – “with ambition to win”, as Mr. Ahmed Al Samarraie from Germany put it in his comment.

All these people are constantly blaming the UAE riders when they ride “with ambition to win” – and now they blame the UAE riders again for the absence of “ambition to win”. What an absurdity!

As Rasťo Supek rightly remarked, each ride is not a championship!

If the rider has the intention to be qualified for the Championship, he needs to successfully complete 5 rides for a distance of 2* and higher.

There is absolutely no reason to blame the rider who simply wants to finish successfully and get qualified for the Championship without “ambition to win”.

Except for one reason – the racist hatred.

Yet another example of hatred.

And now let’s speak about the speed.

On the one hand, Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes shares the picture posted by Mr. Ahmed Al Samarraie about “horsemachines”.

On the other hand, Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes is delighted with the picture of racehorses that accelerated with whips.

Apparently he does not consider racehorses to be “horsemachines”.

Let’s see how Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes loves the speed.

Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes loves the speed of the last loop of 26.67 km/h.

Endurance ride CEI 1* 80 km on 04/06/2016 in Trinidad (URU) – horse HUNGARES ENDURANCE (FEI ID 104KC83) has the speed of the last loop of 28.3 km/h.
Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes became the registered trainer of this horse on the previous day 03/06/2016.

Endurance ride CEI 2* 120 km on 05/06/2016 in Trinidad (URU) – horse CAETE CSM (FEI ID 103BS38) has the speed of the last loop of 25.9 km/h.
Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes became the registered trainer of this horse two days before on 03/06/2016.

Endurance ride CEI 2* 120 km on 19/11/2016 in Costa Azul, Canelones (URU) – horse DOURO TRIO (FEI ID 105IE78) has the speed of the last loop of 29.8 km/h.
Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes is the registered trainer of this horse from 29/07/2016 until 31/12/2019.

As we see, Mr. Jose Carlos Vaz Guimaraes has big “ambitions to win”.

Now you can see his inconsistency in the opinion of what is good and what is bad.
