The famous equestrian journalist Pippa Cuckson is not as good as everyone thinks.
Her last post on website horse-canada.com here contains some false statements.
Maybe Ms. Cuckson thinks that nobody will check the facts, which she’s writing about.
Please read this screenshot of Pippa’s post.
In the first paragraph of above screenshot Pippa wrote that Aleksandr Onyshchenko being arrested.
This is not true. The real truth: Mr. Onyshchenko had never been arrested.
In the second paragraph of above screenshot Pippa wrote that: Ukraine Today has reported that Onyshchenko was among 10 people detained on June 15.
This is not true. The real truth: There are no words on website “Ukraine Today” that Onyshchenko was detained.
You can check it.
Just google “Ukraine Today” and find the website http://uatoday.tv/ – go to this website.
Then put your cursor into Search field and type Onyshchenko. Click Enter. You will find only one post about this news: http://uatoday.tv/crime/ten-arrested-in-ukraine-s-major-gas-theft-probe-675715.html
In this news post of Ukraine Today there is no word that Onyshchenko was detained. There are another words:
It is the big difference between Pippa’s words “Onyshchenko was among 10 people detained” and published original report about “the application … on granting the parliament’s consent to the detention and arrest”, isn’t it?
As a member of parliament, he could not be arrested or detained on June 15, since he had parliamentary immunity, without parliament’s consent, which did not exist on that day.
Anyway, Aleksandr Onyshchenko has not been arrested and you can check this, if you will look at his Facebook profile here.
As you can see, Mr. Onyshchenko regularly makes the posts on his Facebook – it is unlikely possible to do, if he was arrested.
So, now we see it clear, that Pippa Cuckson are posting her articles without a thorough fact-checking.
In pursuit of a scandalous sensation, Ms. Cuckson behaves like a yellow journalist, distorting the facts and posting untrue articles.
Here is the list of all 10 persons detained on June 15 for so-called “Onyshchenko case”.
There is no name of Mr. Onyshchenko in this list, because Aleksandr Onyshchenko himself has not been detained.
